PRACTICE DAYS 7 (ERROR  MANAGEMENT)

Overcorrecting has the risk of demotivating pupils, and it may even disrupt the flow of the class or activity if you jump in and fix every single mistake. Allowing the discourse to continue and without correcting any errors is the opposite extreme. There are situations when this is acceptable, but most students prefer to have some of their errors rectified since it provides them with a foundation from which to progress.
However when it comes to very young learners it might not work because they do not know their mistakes yet, so the best solution is to correct them in the stage of learning so it does not become a fossilized one.
In the student practice I have noticed that the teacher usually manages the errors immediately, at the stage of learning. However sometimes children do it on purpose and the teacher does not pay attention to it after some time. Error management is a tough topic because it can lead to traumas. Also, I have noticed that the teacher gives a chance for the child who made a disrespectful behavior towards someone for thinking and not continuing the lesson until he/she apologizes and understands the bad behavior. I think this is very important and when I saw it for the first time I was very impressed, because in my country the teacher usually gives a punishment to leave the class or to stay at the corner which not ends with anything good. The student generally gets the trauma for the future and does not understands the misbehavior that he/she did.
I think it is a topic that should be discussed and thought on most of the times. As for the reason, our one bad choice of word or act can lead to a destruction of a life..
