Last week we have watched a video on an English lesson to 0 grade boys who were very active and it brought to my mind very different ideas concerning planning the future lessons. It had many positive aspects as well as negative ones. (here is the link)
These were extremely young boys, so they were full of activity and evidently unfamiliar with the school setting. It's difficult to maintain order, but he managed to do so to some level; these are youngsters that want to be active, answer when they're asked, and walk around. He maintained a positive attitude that the children would have appreciated.
Another aspect is that it seemed for me that the classroom management of the teacher was a bit out of control due to hyperactive students, however he handled the vocabulary delivery well. The activities that he used in the classroom such as football team was impressing, it seemed that he knew his student are of interest well. Moreover, it was nice that he repeated the vocabulary so the students will learn it completely. Also, classroom activity was pretty high .
To conclude, it is always easy to be the judge however it gave me some ideas that I can use in my further teaching journey, it is useful to learn from someone's experience and improve it in your way :)
