Introducing myself

Hello,

I am Deria (20) and I am from Kyrgyzstan I was born there but I am Turkish 😊 , I was grown in a multi-national family, which is the reason for my interest in languages and of course my interest influenced my career path: P. I graduated this June from Vistula University, English Philology Department, and entered Warsaw University.

From childhood, I was interested in English thanks to my amazing teachers, and from primary school, I knew that I should be working with people because I love helping and socializing. I love little kids, who are at the stage of acquiring everything that you show them, having wonderful memory.

That is the reason I have chosen GPTE and I was afraid at the beginning because almost all of my groupmates have experience in teaching, however, I am a newbie here 😊 (so hope to learn a lot from my professors and groupmates)

I did not have experience in the field of teaching young learners but I did English tutoring for three months to an older lady, who was 37, and there I understood that teaching a language to adults is a little hard for me: /

So in this blog, I will write about my absolutely new experiences and feelings, looking forward to starting our practice and experiencing new challenges for me to become a skilled teacher…

In my free time, I love reading books, cooking, and traveling 😊( and during quarantine I guess I improved my skills in cooking )
